Timely action by Rawat Police, a 4-member gang engaged in robbing a citizen by posing as customs officials was arrested, a vehicle snatched from a citizen at gunpoint was recovered, fake number plates, handcuffs, revolving light, wireless set and weapons were also recovered from the accused, the accused were robbing a citizen that the police found suspicious and checked them, the accused introduced themselves as customs officials who could not be proven during the investigation, the accused used to stop vehicles and rob citizens by posing as officials of a government agency. According to details, Rawat police took timely action and arrested a 4-member gang who were busy robbing a citizen by posing as customs officials. The arrested suspects were identified as Zeeshan, Hassan, Asad and Farhan. A vehicle snatched from a citizen at gunpoint was recovered. Fake number plates, handcuffs, revolving light, wireless set and weapons were also recovered from the suspects. The suspects were robbing a citizen, which the police found suspicious and checked. The suspects introduced themselves as customs officials, but could not prove it during the investigation. The suspects used to stop vehicles and rob citizens by posing as government officials. The arrested suspects are being transferred to jail for an identity parade. SP Saddar congratulated ASP Saddar, SHO Rawat and the team for the timely and effective action and said that the gang that was robbing a citizen in the guise of government officials was wanted in several incidents. Important revelations and more recoveries are expected during the investigation of the suspects.
