Rawalpindi (Reporter) Food Branch Chaklala Cantonment sent 100 food samples to the laboratory in October 2025. Hotels, milk shops, chicken shops are checked on a daily basis in different areas of the cantonment. And strict action was taken against those who use substandard items. Milk, chicken, and 3 outlets were sealed and a fine of 50 thousand was imposed. Food Branch Chaklala Cantonment Board will not allow any food handler to work in the cantonment area without a medical certificate.
The Food Branch of Chaklala Cantonment Board will not allow the sale of any substandard food or beverages within the cantonment area.
